The ‘33 Willys competed internationally and was the car “Ohio George” was most recognized with. From September ‘59 to ‘62, it was powered by a 671 Supercharged 414 c.i. Cadillac engine; from ‘63 to ‘65 with a Supercharged 389 c.i. Chevy engine; and ‘66 to mid ‘67 with a 427 c.i. SOHC Ford engine until it was retired. “The World’s Wildest Willys” set 9 NHRA National Records and had 3 US Nationals Eliminator wins and 8 US Nationals Class wins. It was chosen to the 1966 Car Craft All-Star Drag Team to participate in the US Drag Festival in England. In 2002 the car was on display at the NHRA Museum in Pomona, California. It is now on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
